13 FRI

9:30-10:45 Welcome to Yoga with Mark:

Kindness

An easeful practice with an emphasis on cultivating maitri, one of the “four immeasurables” in Buddhism, but also found in Patanjali`s Yoga Sutra.

13:30-14:45 Refresh & Relax Yoga with Mayumi :

Self-Reflection through Yoga Nidra

Who are the people who you love and care the most? Have you been able to nurture yourself with the same kind of love that you sent out to them?  In addition to asana, we will engage with a practice of Yoga Nidra, the ultimate relaxation that can be done in an asana.

17:30-19:00 Hatha Yoga+Meditation with Mark:

Compassion

Awareness practice will be the focus. As we refine our awareness we become more sensitive to ourselves and others. This leads to a natural capacity for compassion. We will deepen this capacity through meditation as well.

14 SAT

9:30-10:45 Good Morning Core with Mark:

Lighting the Fire of Intention

Shatkarma (cleansing techniques), pranayama (breath expansion techniques) and the element of fire will support our practice of creating a strong and supple core.

11:15-13:00 Patanjali`s Yoga Sutra ~ 1.8 Viparyaya with Mark:

Changing Misperception

We explore the concept of error and misidentification as presented in Patanjali`s text and also refined through the lens of Tantra.

13:30-14:45
Vinyasa Yoga+Meditation with Mark:

Inspiring Devotion through Movement, Mantra and Meditation

A practice of bhakti, devotion. We will move, chant and meditate to inspire our hearts to leap into life with great enthusiasm and service1

15 SUN

10:30-12:00 Hatha Yoga+Meditation with Mark:

Love as the Engine of Life Practice

Through the asana practice we explore the concept of love. If love can be made the core motor of our actions and thoughts, our life shines and flows with an elegant fullness in each moment.

12:45-14:00 Enjoy Body (Music & Movement) with Satsuki:

Gratitude

We all have places of tightness in the body. As we move the body from a place of joy about ourselves, we will temper the body into a firm but elastic form filled with sweetness! From that sweetness we can convey deep gratitude to the people who support us in all ways.

15:45-17:45 Pratyabhijna-hrdayam with Mark:

The Understanding of the Heart in Tantra

We pause in our progression of specific sutras to investigate the concept of hrdaya, “heart” in the Tantric tradition. By understanding this concept to a greater degree, we will be able to more clearly have the experience of recognition of our own magnificent heart space and the infinite potential that overflows from that space in every moment of our lives.
